@@Ryengoth У меня русская копия кулисы. Крепление к кронштейну реализовано по другому. 3 болта по окружности снизу прижимают корпус к кронштейну Ютюб не даёт возможность оставить ссылку на фото. Для чёткого переключения передач некоторые владельцы SAAB устанавливают вместо резиновой муфты кардан от рулевого механизма советского автомобиля vaz2107. Люфтов нет никаких. Тактильно похоже на работу с винтовкой. Но я считаю это лишним. Короткоходная кулиса очень прочная. Даже при гонках при очень жёсткой работе на эмоциях, она выдерживает нагрузки.

Greetings, I appreciate the thoroughness of your tutorials they have immensely helped. NTL I have to replace the shift lever plastic ball socket, instead of tearing out the whole base how would I go about taking off the shifter knob. As you explained you have misplaced the SIM card with that step, I’ve searched endlessly and can’t seem to find any forums or videos that elaborate with your expertise and precision the process necessary to go about this. If you could drop a few pointers it would be beyond helpful. Thank you

The knob is press-fit onto the shifter rod. Most of the time removing an old knob will damage it so be prepared to buy a reproduction knob. You can grab the bottom of the knob around the base that sticks out past the reverse lock-out sleeve. The sleeve is locked into the knob by wedge tabs so be careful not to damage it. The whole boot, sleeve and knob comes off as an assembly.

A slide hammer works if you can rig up something solid to pull on the knob from the bottom.

Good stuff! The provided solution for retaining the short shifter is ridiculous, and the retaining ring solution is aces. Given the function/purpose of the ring, I wonder if the printed part might be adequate to the task, so if you just made the stl available, folks could print their own. Still good of you to offer them in aluminum to those interested. And it's definitely something GenuineSaab should offer as an option. Also an interesting idea to recast the mounting bracket, especially with the retaining ring as part of the casting. Would be a very complete solution. Keep up the excellent work!

The plastic alone does not have the thread strength unless you print a solid model and install plastic thread inserts from the bottom.

GReat video! may do this to my '93 if it will run. Think it has TCS problems :). if you have ANY parts, i will pay dearly.

No, sorry. My 94 CDE does not have TCS. TCS parts are impossible to find so you might want to consider deleting it before non-TCS engine and ABS stuff is just as rare.

Hey, it says that it fits 9000 after 94, would it fit a 92 9000 turbo?

It probably would. I do not have a mount for pre-94 9000 but they look similar.
