1994 SAAB 9000 Project - new front fenders

I found new old-stock repro stamped fenders! Time to start the body and paint work.

Yes. I have 2 other cars in and out of the garage right now. I have to deal with condensation issues in the car from a leak. The sunroof is rusted shut now, the windows are stuck or super slow and I have fenders to install as well as body and paint prep to start.

Damn !!, did they have CS wings as well ?. Luckily i still had some boxed Saab wings for mine which i took from the dealership when we closed down.

Hey Paul, unfortunately they only have the CD style with the large headlights and wide corners from earlier CC models. Still, they are similar enough stamps in the arch and dog leg to make patch panels.

I know this is unrelated to this video, put the seat back on my saab 9000 power seat does not move back-and-forth the motor makes noise but the back doesn't go anywhere did you have this similar issue? Or do you know why it would be frozen in place? Thank you I appreciate all your videos on this car.... really helping me

Yes, the recline motor and cables are a known issue. The sprocket in the seat back pivot is nylon and the drive shaft is a micro-spline. The gear strips out there. Look on eBay for seat back repair cables or kit. It is a new setup that has brass gears and better sheathing on the drive cables that wont crack or split.
