Michael Gilmore, #35 that ran that fumble back, is an orthopedic surgeon here in Northwest Florida now. He repaired my elbow.

You don't have to be so humble. You were a great offensive lineman for the Gators. :-)

Now we see why Muschamp was so comfortable with having his ass kicked in The Swamp.

I was at this game, a 12 year old boy sitting in the south end zone with my dad. I had so much fun celebrating with everyone. The atmosphere was so unique, I couldn't hear myself think lol. Great memories.

I remember watching this game after my cousins wedding. What a game. Hometown boy Hambrick did us proud that night.

I was there. Was crazy in the east stands..

Darren Hambrick's interception electrified the crowd that night. Probably only second to Larry Kennedy's int v. Tennessee in 1991. Man, The Swamp was loud in those days!

It's crazy watching this. Who would have thought that Will Muschamp would be the head coach of Florida 20 years later? Muschamp was a very solid player.

What a thrashing Florida gave Georgia in The Swamp. (52-14) Interestingly enough, Georgia would host Florida the following year, and didn't fare much better. (52-17)

I've been to some games big games in Gainesville, but this game was at another level. That was a good Georgia team that we did this too. Hambrick was a beast. Too bad he couldn't stay out of trouble.

And by the way you are dreaming about the talent levels at the two schools. Your program has Mickey Mouse schedules year in and year out, and you had to rely on 6 turnovers against us and still almost lost. You are deluding yourself.
@ProZack9148811 жыл бұрын
If it took Georgia over 20 years to win back to back games over Florida, how many will it take for them to win a Championship? Who has won more in your lifetime? without knowing your age I'll answer that. Florida has won more unless u were born before 1935. the Series is not swinging back to UGA. past 2 years UF had 8 turnovers, and UGA still almost lost both games. If Florida doesn't kill themselves they will win. So tell me, how many championship have u seen your team win, with your own eyes?

Georgia hokie: own us do you know in the past 10 yrs we have beaten u more right....where is your sec titles where is your nat titles, i mean you uga fans are funny you have beaten us like 4 times maybe 5 since 2000 its 2012 thats a bad ave bro....smh
@555smo12 жыл бұрын
You make it sound like either team was playing at their best in this year's matchup. Georgia should have won by 4 TDs with the 6 turnovers the gators gave you, and you were held to just an 8 point lead. Jarvis Jones carried that team and if it wasn't for him and him alone, Georgia would have lost. I'd be embarrassed to sound as cocky as you sound over sloppy win by UGA this year. But good luck next year.. You're gonna need it with the recruiting class Muschamp has for the 2013 season.
