Keep in mind that 1995 Kansas State not only led the NCAA Division I-A in total defense, they shutout three opponents and won their bowl game by 33 points And Nebraska did this to THAT team (Heck even their non-Husker loss was a respectable 27-17 vs Colorado)

How did he get screwed? His numbers were trash. 1300 yds passing and 17 TDs. Bobby hoying AND Orlando Pace deserved the Heisman that year before Frazier. Hoying threw for 3000+ yards and 29 TDs and Pace was unstoppable as an OL and didn’t even give up a QB pressure that year.

@@765lbsquat Dude he put up those numbers and only passed the ball like 12 times per game. He was the most unstoppable option QB that ever played and by far the best player in 1995! Probrably the best college football player of the 90s.

Yeah that was probably the worse snub ive seen . Eddie george had a awesome season but got shut down when it mattered vs a average Michigan team and got the sympathy vote. Ohio state was like the buffalo bills of college football in the 90s.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. It wasn't so much that we hated Kansas State, it was that their fans were insufferable pricks. They weren't as bad as Colorado though, Buffalo fans were the worst of the Big 8. The Big 12? Texas fans... yuck.

Nebraska had a dynasty back in the mid 90’s. One of the toughest teams to play back in that time. Just ask Fla., Tenn.,VaTech and Miami. Frazier was freakin unbelievable , Frost , Phillips, Berringer, Couch, Winstrom, Albert,Booker and The O line.Enough said! I sure as hell didn’t won’t my Hokies to play them.

Just a reminder, this K-State team ended the season 2nd nationally in scoring defense, allowing only 145 points all season. Nebraska accounted for over 1/3rd of all points allowed by K-State that season.

Nobody did good vs Nebraska. It was just some teams didn't get blown out as bad as others. K state didn't get beat as bad as Florida. But got beat badly none the less. This Nebraska team was almost unbeatable.

@@jillconner5062 K-State actually did pretty good against Nebraska in this game. Scored 25 points and kept the Nebraska passing attack from doing anything. KSU would have beat Florida head to head if they would have played them. Scoring 25 points in Lincoln is something only K-State was able to do in the 90’s.

@@jillconner5062 Washington State played very well against Nebraska. Florida needed to be playing in another bowl game. Anytime you get beat by 38 points in a championship means there is about 10 other teams that could have done better than the Gators did in that game.

Kansas State would have done better if Nebraska didn’t put their starters back in to regain their score margin and stop KS from scoring again. This game would’ve been closer for sure. The Colorado game should’ve been a lot closer too, but Colorado was cheated out of the three touchdowns they scored clear as day.
