Man I loved watching Tyrone Williams play. My opinion, the best corner to ever play at NU. Played against a bunch of future NFL receivers and gave them all a beat down. Multiple NCAA title games, played in a couple Super Bowls. Very quiet but just played hard.

This was my sophomore year at OSU! Supposedly my friends and I were on TV at one point (although I couldn't find it here). The pre-game atmosphere was really something. We were all decked out in our bright orange, excited to open up the season on a Thursday night on national television. And then the actual game started, and the Huskers proceeded to open up a giant can of whoop-ass on us.

I was there. Midway through the 2d quarter, Pokes' sideline were asking for volunteers to suit up and get in the game. I can say that I saw arguably the greatest college team in the modern era. And no, it wasn't my beloved Cowboys. FML. Oh, and F 'Bama. They wouldn't have survived 95.

yeppers, NEB beat an eventual 8 loss team. Wyoming and CO scored 45 against them, TN shut them out 31-0. Neb's 60-3 run was a farce. This game could be on that list. Scoring a zillion against a bad team only brings to light how bad the bad team is.

That announcer around 38 min mark was talking about Nebraska answering to a touchdown from OSU and said "if they "huskers" wanna be a top 25 team they need to answer" and they did. We do now. 5-36. KSU had 5 of the 18 ranked teams that Osborne faced. * how poor Erickson would be in bowls. 5-9. The last 3 at Miami, all losses (87-31) * how poor Spurrier would be in bowls. 11-10 * how poor Beamer would be in bowls. 11-12. Most bowl losses (1) Edwards, (2) Osborne, (3)Beamer * how poor Fulmer would be in bowls 8-7 or that he would have a losing record against Spurrier, Richt, Saban, Meyers, Miles, Tuberville, Paterno, Osborne, Solich, Weiss, and Tyrone Willingham at Neyland. He did beat Bowden, cough, who had a 3rd string QB at the time. History will not be kind to Osborne. Can a great coach have a losing bowl record? The answer. No way. The bowl measures your regular season against a like opponent (or that is the goal) from another conference. He was great against a sorry conference except when he played another very good team from that same conference where he would win 29% of the time in those matchups.
