My push rods were the same, lighter color same side, also I had metal in oil pan I was like yikes! But started looking close and it was bottom chunks of the cylinder wall, from what I've seen if it's not past the oil ring, I've heard its probably good to go, but we know how that is lol. Once again thx for the good video

Interesting! Not sure why the different color pushrods, but not gonna worry about it yet. Sounds bad if it is chunks from the cylinder wall! As long as it doesn't really affect anything maybe it will be fine, only one way to find out. Always gotta wonder exactly how the damage is done, especially when it is not directly in use by the engine. Thank you for watching!

Its was done when timing cover was removed. I do the same when doing timing chains. It's faster to cut a new gasket to fit than dropping the pan!
