What??? That's barely broken in! That's a time capsule! I had a black one exactly like that. Not fast by any means but still a great quality ride and a nice cruiser. She's gorgeous, excellent find!

Beautiful! Pretty base GTP which is something you don't see even when these were new. No HUD or DIC even.

I'd kill for this ride! Super cool

My favorite part about these cars was changing the alternators and the o-rings for the distributor dummy plug. Engineering at its finest right there. This engine was a total turd all around. Cool looking car though, don’t see many around anymore

Had one of these brand new back in the day. Im pretty sure this car feels pretty sluggish for todays standards even compared to todays 4 cylender cars but Put some flowmasters on this and this engine has a very unique tone for a v6.

We used to have one of these. One day driving down the road she went out silent and threw a belt. It didnt even have over 100k miles on it. Funny the gold rims were faded and looked pink. Cost of repair was too much for what the car was worth at the time because those belts were hard to get at. Twas a shame.
@jiggity762 жыл бұрын
The belts need to be checked and replaced NO later than 60,000 miles. It's a maintenance thing that people don't know of, care, or ignore that usually does these cars in. The 91-95 LQ1's are NON interference so if the belt does let go, no valve to piston contact will be made. For the 96-97 years, yes, the motor can grenade itself due to them being an interference design.

I have a 1995 I bought off the original owner in 2010 with 81,000 miles. 11 years later I still have it and it’s garage kept . You don’t see these cars anymore and the above users said “ these cars are not fast by any means “ he’s absolutely right. But they are something to look at, the styling and features were really cool for its time . I’ve always loved these cars and I intend on keeping mine forever. Good luck to you with your car!

I’m hearing that more and more when I call around to junkyards looking for parts . The yard owners are telling people people are looking for these cars again . And he hasn’t seen these type of inquiries since the late 90s early 2000s
