1996 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck road test & tour circa 2018 with Sam & Bobby

The 1990s, a great decade for tough-looking trucks. This 1996 would be the last squarebody Ford. Unique options on this special 1996 Ford F150 include the 5.0 EFI paired with a 5-speed manual tranny (rare!). We've got rubber floorboards & a sliding back window. This is my friend Bobbys truck and we thought it would be a great idea to do a quality video on it. He's getting ready to sell it. I hope you enjoy this video. Soon to be a classic truck, the Ford F-150, last year of this tough looking square body style. This is a Texas truck to be proud of.

Have a '96 being kept in the family since new....strong 302 with 232k miles....no smoke....good idle....smooth shifting thru the gears.....and still solid! Recently had to replace the fuel injectors (actually only one was bad but you know you can't replace just one...) and the throttle response is BACK! Neighbors come up to me all the time about how much they miss this body style. Even custom tire shops comment on how the square body stands out, etc. Thanks for the video and reminding me the blue oval rules!

My 300 Bouer 5 speed with 2.73gears 175,000 miles runs like a top its amazing after 24 years how well its put together. This truck is in the background of alot of my favorite memories fishing camping tailgating Trump rallies! Great truck

Just bought a 92 XLT flareside 1 owner unmolested. Got everything I need and nothing I don’t. Wife and I love it. Few minor issues to be fixed but nearly there. Engine bay definitely not as shiny as this one.

Very Clean lookin' truck. I also liked the deletions and add ons to this truck. Like your front bumper and tail gate wow. Still original with a twist! I like your style and hope mine will look as good as yours someday. Thank you sir for your upload and finally I found something close to all original lol. I want my 300 Bauer to have its original color also (Toreado Red, I believe). These are truely Ford Tough trucks. Mines over 300k+ miles and still pushing strong 💪 since 96 😁👍

Something is not correct. The XL trim would not have the chrome grill and front bumper. It would be dark gray with a painter gray bumper. It is also missing the Ford decal on the tailgate. The 5 speed is also not rare, Most XL models were.
