I love this bike. Next up, I may get the front fork brace from Eagle Mike. I hear it helps with stability in loose gravel conditions. And yes, the Doohickey has been installed. Links below.

Garmin 64 has been discontinued - newer options here: bit.ly/3hDD0Wz

My wife rides a Yamaha XT225. The mods are staking up on that one, too. I installed a Slipstreamer windshield and a rack for mounting a top box. She also has handguards and a Giant Loop tank bag; just a smaller one - Buckin' Roll.

You'll love it. When I am not riding it, I dream of upgrading to, say, a Yamaha T7, but then I get on it and I fall in love all over again. I just took it through the Black Hills. It performed beautifully.

I ended up finding a brand new Pelican 1620 case that was going to be used for portable ventilator but the contract fell through. I paid $128 free shipping on eBay. check it out they are awesome. I ended up using tusk pannier rack from Rocky Mountain ATV I then put knockoff pelican cases on the Tusk wreck for side hard cases. I got them scratch and dent from eylar for $49 I run service calls with it. I have saved 2,000 miles on my 2022 Ford F-150 with this KLR they are awesome

I have a 95 , great bikes , kind of slow on Hiway s but built like a tank , is that a plastic gas tank ?
@tobandyck1
@tobandyck1 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I often dream about upgrading, but then I ride mine and remember just how dialled-in to my height and riding style it is. It's the original tank, but I repainted it with tan Plasti-Dip.

@@symcardnel1741 It's the original metal tank. It looks like plastic, though, because I painted it with Plasti-Dip.

Do you have a problem with a loose front sprocket , I have replaced front and back , the front with anew locking ring still is not tight ?
@tobandyck1

I had to replace my front wheel last year. The speedometer assembly was mangled. But, so far, my sprockets haven't caused problems (knock on wood).

I ended up getting a prevailing lock nut on my front whenever I purchased my 16 tooth sprocket and I went ahead and got a stock sprocket and X-Ring chain from Eagle Mike

Just looking at your fork-tubes at minute 3:14. Are you sure they are at the right position. They come out quite a bit on your bike.
