I love your Impala! I have a 96 myself. I noticed that you have a set of weld wheels that complements the Impala quite well. I plan on getting a staggered set of weld wheels myself. I also noticed that your odometer doesn't display. I had the same issue as well. I had the three resistors checked to see if they were still good and they were. All I had to do was add more solder to the resistors and I got my odometer to function again. While you had the cluster out, you could have added more solder to the resistors unless the resistors are bad. Great video!

I actually just got done filming what was supposed be the repair process of a '96 cluster, but ran into issues after finding a broken trace on the board. I had the option of either getting a jumper wire and making it work that way, or having the trace professionally repaired. My original solder was terribly cracked, and the resistors got hot enough that I think it may have mildly burned the board. Which sucks, because now I'll be without a cluster for roughly a week or so for the trace repair, and the car's a garage ornament until then 😭

@sebastiangutierrez3187 I believe there's a couple guys in the FB pages that will do the repair along with mild customization, he ended up doing mine since someone had previously attempted a rather poor repair on my cluster.

There's pure white 5000k Cool white 6000k
