Ummmm no there is not any charm. It's a third world country with dirt roads and dirt/poop houses. It is a tragedy to think you can just drive them forever, they are unreliable. Most of the components of the cars no longer work and everyone drives a beater on it's last legs.

Really cool seeing a 90s Corolla still work to this day, as a daily driver in africa. Has its clunky moments but i would say its upper echelon when it comes to vehicles in africa. Heck that Ford F150 at 4:34 is perfect for these roads

In Russia we also have such Corollas (sedan and station wagon only) with mileage under 1 million, but only the mileage on the dashboard is no more than 500 thousand, because everyone has it twisted)

It s one of few with a airfilter,but please connect it properly to the throttle box...will provide more air over the airintakesensor and much smoother running...

This is great too. There are many used cars in Japan. According to the Japanese sense of value, many people change their cars after 10 years.

I figure once their life is used up in America, Europe, Asia, then African countries / companies / African dealerships import whatever vehicle is available if they have the $$ So, in America, the clunked, can’t pass US emissions testing / failed inspection type cars, crashed car, salvage title, insurance dumped the car, whatever unwanted and unsold car would prob b exported to Africa So, in America by 2035, electric and I think hybrid cars will be mando by federal law, so I think thousands of gas vehicles will be sent to Africa in the mid 2030s Also, crime rings in America, Canada and throughout Europe steal luxury cars, and Toyotas, Hondas, Benz, whatever and ship them to Africa if they can pass the country’s customs, undetected in the shipping container and now its permanent new life is in Africa

It sure doesn't, but I don't hear any knocking, grinding, or ticking, only misfire. I know parts are hard to come by over there, but a new set of spark plugs, ignition wires, and possibly some coils, it'll probably run like new.
@r1oot6 ай бұрын
i would rather have an engine with misfire noises than sewing machine noises. all of these new cars today sounds like sewing machines or diesel engines.
