Not really" blueprinted" 304s were just slapped together hense The reason they are a shit engine Gtsr engine got put together how most manufacturers put an engine together ..... properly

@@rayban5737 come on, were they really that different? The HSV 304 “185i” only had the difference of extractors/headers and a different intake. The GTSR had the stroker “215i” which was available in the GTS, Senator, and Statesman/Caprice/Grange. The Blueprint option added 10kw on top of that. Where in this lineup of mediocre power option upgrades did they start building it “properly,” and what was proper about it?

@alexs3187 As quoted from MOTOR, regarding the VS GTSR blue print option... "Apart from the extra poke liberated by the blueprinting job, the big selling point was that the engine was stripped and re-assembled by HRT race engineers. The down side was that HSV relieved you of a further $10,500 (on top of the $76,000 of the basic package) for the honour of having an HRT bloke spanner it up for you. It also got you 226kW and 507Nm."

The factory 5.0 is stroked to 5.7 litre on 215 Hsv cars

I was gunna say it sounds identical to my 5.0 litre ss. Definitely not hard to screw 215 engine covers on hey. And hsv tags can be bought. Ive seen them on ebay once or twice. And hey if you gunna fake a gtsr you're obviously into faking stuff so definitely cant be trusted. Lol
