Great video I plan on rebuilding my front end soon. Btw I never saw you preload the suspension.
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
With higher-end setup, preload is a must.. with budget sets, I've been so lucky with out of the box height and spring rate without preloading it.. unlike higher-end set up, the spring rates are more accurate than what the low-end offers..

How can I know if should replace my calipers or just keep them and refresh them as you did?
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
A normal functioning calipers usually has no internal rust, the piston can go out with a little bit of resistance while applying brakes, no visible seal damages or deterioration.. I only replace calipers if the internal bore where the piston goes in is really rusted to the point that it may scar the piston really bad preventing a good seal.. You can also get some rebuild kits to freshen up Seals, piston, and bleeder valve..

I noticed you did not put back on the dust shield or splash shield. Have you notice more dust or dirt back there?
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
Planning to use a big brake system before, then realized that it'll cost me too much.. but I really like the idea of removing the shield to see if it really makes a difference.. from what I experienced, it doesn't really accumulated a lot of dust and grimes [yet].. it stayed pretty clean, another thing, no more annoying rubbing sounds from brakes to the shield, although you can adjust it to where it doesn't touch the Rotors, but there's nothing for me to worry about that anymore lol! another thing, just for my preference, I think it looked really nice too without the shield.. just a matter of functionality and esthetics preference..
@paranoidkev17762 жыл бұрын
@@PinoyStyleDIY Hmm alright. Seems like a hassle to take them on or off since you need to remove the wheel hub (unless you plan to cut the shield). I am going to go without it. I drive mainly on paved streets/freeways and live in relatively dry state.

If you're asking about the jacks, both were given to me by my uncle back in 2009. Not sure about the brand..

Car feels good with those coilovers?
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
BTW, I'm using the cheapest option.. It's made by MAXpeeding Rods.. As far as my experience, it seems to perform and rides really well.. I know it's been a mix bags of experience with different users, but as far as my experience, so far - so good.. I think my ride experience is better than other due to me refreshing all suspension components..

Hey do you know if the coilovers come with stock high before moving around, thanks
@PinoyStyleDIY3 жыл бұрын
They were set at stock height.. I end up adjusting it to the lowest possible position for a better ride and appearance..

@@PinoyStyleDIY thanks that help me alot, couldn't find any information about it, the reason I went with coilovers is cheaper that way that buy separately then put together cuz I couldn't find any place that sell all set together, I got a good deal $200 for maxpeedingrods

How are you axles holding up? Mines are messed up and I’m looking for replacements. But I dot. Want to buy a pair and have them break in under a year
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
It still holds really well.. You can still replace them one at a time.. Just replace the one that is giving you problem.. always keep receipts, either from online or in-store purchases to obtain warranty coverage ^_^

@@PinoyStyleDIY so you would personally recommend these products? They have given you any problems?
@PinoyStyleDIY2 жыл бұрын
@Syrus Reeves-Campos I can only tell what are my experiences about the products I used, They're really good quality replacement parts. Thus , I highly recommend them.. in any scenario, parts breaks commonly even with a medium to high recommendation of many users depending on installations and use. I just tend to lean on where I can maximize every penny I spend..
