After pulling a vacuum close the low pressure valve (blue) and open the red. With the vehicle off, turn can upside down and fill as much as the system will take through the high side (red) and after it stops taking the Freon, close the red, upright the can, start the truck and open the blue. The compressor will start cycling and taking the Freon so there's no need to jump the compressor. And the fill is much faster. Do not start the engine though while dumping liquid into the high side.

I usually just open the low side and fill it up. It'll eventually build enough pressure the condenser will start turning on and then off till you fill more of it, eventually it'll just run steadily and you just have to fill either by weight or pressure reading.

How much R-134 does it take? How many oz?
@chriss43654 ай бұрын
@navajorezathlete1202 Do not exceed 2lbs. Get low pressure reading to around 35psi with ac running.
