That is a 1972 (SB series - 2.7l, carburetors) Italian Market SM. Unbelievable that the guy in the video revved the hell out of it while it was cold (on a "cold start"). There is a reason that these cars have an oil temperature gauge on the dash (to the right of the fuel gauge) - never go over 4k rpms until the oil temp is up. Never rev over 1500 rpm for the first 90 seconds after starting the engine cold - give the oil pump time to lubricate the cams!! It does appear to be a very nice car! Love the red cloth interior!

Came here to say the same Roland, I just found this video. It is a nice example, but holy cow revving the engine like that cold is a recipe for disaster! I wanted him to also zip right over those speed bumps, really show off the suspension. Engine bay needs a good cleaning, and switch to a Titus ignition to clean all that ancient mess up! Exhaust tips also appear to be reversed side to side.

Hope the car’s ok.

It's probably older than 1972. Only the first model year had the stylized SM logo at the C-pillar.

Not sure where you get 1997 from? They were only made between 1970-5. The K plate suggests1971-2. Lovely cars!
