They had it in F1 at the time as well; they had a nickname for it, something like the tea car (or was it coffee car?!); it tended to have had less development put into it vs the main car though so you were at a disadvantage using it anyway. Kinda screws over the poorer teams that can't even afford another car though.

@@mattarnold198 no that was different. The T Car was an additional chassis. It was for most teams a third car that was the same as the others but with a different setup. Sometimes for a wet race or only one setup for the better drivers not the second one. It was a spare car for a crash when a red flag canoes out they could change into the T car. And poorer team's didn't have those of course.
