I just gave my son my 1992 Ford Ranger 4 cyl manual transmission with 278,000 miles. Paint clearcoat going bad but interior is all original with not dash cracks or apolstry tears. Great little truck...I'll miss it.

I'm with you, love the analog driving for a daily.

9 grand for this truck is absurd, 180000 miles. Peeling clear coat. That dealer must be smoking something real good.

My thoughts exactly, I just picked up a 2011 4.0L 5MT Extended cab XLT with 140k mi and paint in MUCH better condition for $9k out the door, I wouldn't pay more than like $5k for that

lol definitely smoking crack. I just bought a black 98... for $800. Then I put new front brake lines, calipers & pads, and front shocks, muffler, tailpipe on it. Looks better than that thing.

Bout to put the fm-132 transmission in my dads 95 2wd ranger. Im pumped to get this thing running, renewed and clean, just the automatic transmission got busted. He drives a 93 close to 500k miles, these trucks are nutts

It’s great for longevity. Very simple. The price isn’t great for its age, mileage, condition, and spec level. Back when this truck was made, people weren’t thinking this has personality. Actually, if people felt it had personality, they wouldn’t have discontinued the Ranger back then.

Im from California and a rust and dent free 3rd gen 1998 through 2007 Ranger goes for 5 to 7K. The more money the better the truch should be. People drive them in to the ground, so high miles can be an issue.

This is my favorite truck body style. The right size too. We will never see another small truck like this again.

Oh yeah, the absolute best, even the rwd, we own a splash and it definitely has its quirks and stories
