The passenger side is, driver side is different (and you need the intermediate shaft from the manual engine)

I honestly can't tell you from memory but it's under the driver side of the dash. Find a service manual online, it's really simple. Just gotta cut a wire, ground one side to chassis, and run it through the interlock switch on the clutch bracket. All it does is interrupt the starter.

Also what did you write the clutch interlock switch to? I’m guessing something in line with the ignition circuit; I know of two thick gauge wires I’m supposed to splice together thinking of splicing the clutch switch in line with those

Ryan this is Tony again. Far as getting the car started. #1 Did you get the (new)key reprogrammed to the VIN of the donor car. #2 Did you get the computer reprogramed along with the Immoblizer

Eventually yeah, in the meantime we held the paired key to the ignition cylinder while starting

So just get the (new) key reprogramed to the donor car. And get the same ( new) key cut to the original ignition. So that the ignition cylinder can move like the original key did. The gray key that y'all put a hole into. Ok got it. No programming of the ecu only program the key to match the ecu signal. And the immobilizer is the go between to verify both signal from the ecu and the key. Correct!!

@@shugg0517Pretty much yeah. You want the original key to your car programmed to the ECU you swapped in. We destroyed the gray key's immobilizer so the other one would transmit its signal, so we could drive it to the dealership.

@@ThePhoneGenius2009 Nah, we swapped the PCM from the 5 speed car so it's basically none the wiser. The ABS bulb isn't present in my LX instrument cluster so no light to come on lol

I didn't take too many notes unfortunately and it's now been 3 years, but we essentially referenced the EWDs in the service manual to repin the VSS signal wire to where it needs to be, and reused some leftover wires from the old automatic trans harness for power and ground.

I just bought ScanGauge lol. But you can buy a used cluster and swap out the fuel/temp gauge "pod." It comes out separate from the tach and speedo gauges. I wish I had known that beforehand on mine

You need an ECU with a matching key. You can tow it to a dealer and have them reprogram it, but that's a pain for obvious reasons

I've always parked my manual cars in neutral with the ebrake, unless I'm on a hill. I see no point in putting it in gear on flat ground.

What year was the donor car? You got the parts I got 2002 I want put a 5speed in but my other car 1998 would that matter?

Same, 1998. 01-02 has a slightly different engine, the ECU may not like it. I'd try to find a 98-00.

@@zachharper2664 I think the difference is the 2002 uses a different style of oxygen sensor, so that wouldn't work with the engine harness. I'm not 100% on that but like I said, you're better off trying to find a 98-00.

For the VSS? The pins you're working with are A9 and C23 I believe. Find a service manual online, that'll clear it up more, I don't remember all the specifics anymore because its been too long/I didn't do the wiring

If I remember correctly (which is not a guarantee lol) you need to repin wire A9 to C23 at the ECU inside the car, and tee off that to drive the speedometer in the cluster. We repurposed a couple wires for the old AT to be our signal and ground wires

@@jonathancornejo1790 I believe so yes. The wire that you tee off is gonna go to the speed sensor for the input signal. We repurposed one of the old wires that went to the automatic transmission for this. We didn't document anything besides what's in the video unfortunately, and it's been 2 years so my memory is probably a fit fuzzy. Plus I didn't actually do any of the wiring work lol

Couple different ones, Honda-Tech.com, DriveAccord, 6thgenaccord.com, etc. Most of the information is out there for free. I would also recommend buying a PDF of the service manual, really helps with torque specs, cross referencing the wiring, etc
