I would say around 2 or 3pm central time if I remember right. I'll watch the rest of my speedweeks shows and see when they advertise it being on. This was when qualifying was still on Saturday.

ESPN held the contract and aired it from 1995-1998, then CBS took over in 1999-2000, then the current tv package.

I'm curious on something here I believe Chad Little ran a #97 Ford T-Bird in this '98 Daytona 500, and Robert Pressley too? Why is that?

The 97 T-Birds were still legal for 1998, and teams believed they were faster than the new Tauruses so they used T-Birds instead.
