Awesome I've got to go back and see what you've already done to the internals before all of what I just watched. I've got a 1996 Mustang Gt with the 4.6 2v and I'm sure that this will translate as well. Again You are great at communicating with the build up. AWESOME!!
@shoua502 жыл бұрын
Very good build. Some advise if you guys don't mind. Coming off the adapter that snaps into the factory fuel line, run it to a Y fitting, from the Y run separate fuel lines to each fuel rail preferably the front of the rails then on the back of the rails run separate lines to each side of the regulator because the bottom fitting on the regulator is the return to the tank. If you do it this way then the regulator can properly regulate each rail. Looping it causes the back injectors to run richer because they are right in front of the regulator where fuel pressure is at its highest. I used to run mine the same way you guys did and noticed that cylinders 7 and 8 were running richer than the rest from what the spark plug shows. Very good build guys. Will be looking for more videos.

Man you guys do nice work! Your is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. Question: did you ever consider using a die to add a few more threads onto the shank of those ARP intake bolts?
@alwayssomethinggarage7943 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Scott. That really means a lot. Yeah I mean anything is possible, but I would assume the shank O.D. Is probably a lot bigger than the MMC O.D. to that thread. But, when you can just order a set of bolts on McMaster Carr and get them within the next day you cant beat that! None of this wouldn’t of been a fiasco if MHS would keep a better stock of parts. Haha
@alwayssomethinggarage7943 жыл бұрын
My dads answer AKA the mechanic said he didn’t have a special die for that thread since it is stainless steel so he didn’t want to gah up the threads when cutting the shank. Sorry for the confusion. haha

what did the car put down on the dyno after adding the edelbrock?? And on how many pounds of boost??
@alwayssomethinggarage7943 жыл бұрын
Check out the dyno video we did with the car. But it made +15 hp with the same tune when I have the plastic intake. But with upgrading to the Edelbrock we ramped up the boost to about 19.5 lbs of boost. It made 608rwhp and 650tq with VP MS109 fuel. Then 515rwhp and 550tq with 93 pump fuel.

I have a question!!! Do you have to do a return style fuel system to run this intake?
@alwayssomethinggarage7942 жыл бұрын
No you do not. But with this intake it loves more air. So more air needs more fuel. This intake loves boost. Is your car N/A or does it have boost? And how much power does your car make?
@UltimaFG3 жыл бұрын
Excellent video guys. I'm a about to install this intake and this was exactly what I was looking for. I have some questions: 1) What you guys applied to the injectors before installing? 2) What's the Fore swivel fuel line adapter part number? It was a clever idea and as mentioned in the video, it helps in dampening the engine's and car's movement.
@alwayssomethinggarage7943 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the video! We put on injector silicone lube or you can just use a dab of engine oil. We put lube on just so the injector o-ring doesn’t dry out. Then here are the parts for the inlet side of the fuel rail. Fragola 90 swivel adapter: FRA-499408-BL FORE Fuel line spring lock adapter: 33-001 Thanks for the kind words, we hope the video helps you out! Thanks.

Where did you put the fuel rail pressure sensor? I have this set up and have it plugged in on a hose coming off the fuel rail.if you run it off that vacume block vs the fuel rail wouldn't that be reading the wrong pressure?

Where did you run the valve cover valves to ? And what’s the radiator overflow setup ?
@alwayssomethinggarage7943 жыл бұрын
The overflow set up is from On3, it is the one for the 99-04 Mustang GT. It’s pricey, but definitely worth it for a turbo car so you are not cooking up the coolant in the plastic overflow that’s right overtop the turbo haha. I’m guessing you are asking about the valve cover catch can setup? We have some 90 degree plastic fittings on the valve covers, I think the one side is threaded and the other side is a press fit like a hose barb. But the big hoses goes to a breather box where the battery used to be. Osias is the brand and I got it from eBay for $70. It’s baffled, has two threaded fitting ports and it has a drain on it as well. We just drilled through the body underneath where we mounted the box. We added a long threaded pipe to go down in the fender well and added a ball valve so we could drain it easier. If you want pictures of that we can send them to you. Just let us know. Thanks for checking out the video Chris!
