So my current notch was a regular c notch not an underbed, it wasn’t installed properly so the gap is big from the notch to the frame, if i could cut that notch off, would the underbed still line up well at the end? Cause I dont know how or if the center was found the first time

You will get more clearance with this under bed notch. I’m on a 7 or 8 drop on the rear and have a lot of clearance. The regular cnotch is only if you want a 4/5 drop

You don't need bump stops with this kit. And we hope to have an air bag kit available for this notch soon.

I installed one of these on my truck and now my bed sits lower. There's a bigger gap between my cab and bed now. Any idea what went wrong? I just installed this about an hour ago.

In other words.....bed sits unaligned.

bad install.. even tho its just and under bed notch and your welding it prior to cutting center section its best to support frame front and back so it dont sag. only and then only when your fully dont welding the notch you will remove the jack stands from rear. if you dont use them them take measurements in different areas to confirm that your not sagging.

eddie rodriguez is right i had a similar problem and it was the rear part of the frame that was bent, once i straightened it out everything lined up perfectly

Check different sides of you frame might of got some sagging. You would want to support your truck from the front with jack stands & the back. Can still be fixed if taken to an experienced shop.
