I did my 95 Dodge 5.2 knock magnaflow Double exhaust the same with a new cadylact converter in sound the like your pretty cool today

I got a 98 1500 4wd 5.9/360 with a super 10 pn: 8425810 Single straight pipe to the factory tailpipe and a baffle below the truck next to tailpipe connection about 100 at idle 102 cruising and really quiet when coasting. I need to replace the manifolds and y section due to age and rust.

I would’ve straight piped the jawn honestly the only way these sound really mean is if you run straight pipe with duals but yet again these trucks are already pretty mean stock they were much louder coming out of the factory back then compared to today

Oh hell No! This is a travesty! Still way too quiet and you can barely hear this. Sounds no different than a stock Chrysler Pacifica, and that's a damn shame 😕 Owner should have just run open manifolds which is hands down the best setup and provides the perfect amount of back pressure and increased transfer case performance on these 1999 Dodge Ram 5.9l's.

No not directly, but having a less restrictive exhaust can free up a few hp and a slight bit on mpgs if you aren’t heavy on the throttle.

Wow. 2 things wrong with this video. First - its not a 99. That's a 94-97, not a 99. Second - it doesn't have a highflow cat on it. Thats the factory cat. If you want a highflow cat on it, you'd have to fab up a new y pipe. The cat and y pipe are all one piece. Theres no separate y pipe or cat for these. Additionally - you thought it had a 5.7 hemi in it? That didn't even come out until the new body style change in 2002 half tons. 😒
