I adore my gsx I just bought it with 96k miles on it original miles never tore into just a couple bolt ons and I got it for 3800 from a military guy. Looks stock except lowered but it a is a blast to drive, well when I drive it one a week for 2 miles. But your car is awesome man nicely done

eclipse rs, gs, gst, gts are all fwd. including talon esi. the talon tsi is awd along with the evo's and gsx. basically, the gsx and talon tsi are exactly the same despite the name and rear/front bumpers.

awd is faster and better at handling hp then rwd, you wont slip all 4 and spin them until 600hp depending on your weight. and at 500whp you can drive in the rain all day long and not slip, do it in a rwd car

Its an Apexi N1 catback. From turbo to the apexi n1 it has a custom 3 inch, so basically 3 inch all the way to muffler.

I wouldn't for your first car unless you know about cars already and are very comfortable under the hood and under the car. DSM's are driven hard so it's hard to find one without any problems, and most likely they will have problems. Otherwise go for it! I have a 97 Eclipse GS and I love mine! Wish I had a GSX though!

97-99 all have the high wing and any gsx can sound like that or meaner depending on mods done. cams will give you a super mean lopey idle that sounds awesome too. but you will most likely want to get a 6 bolt engine swap into a 2g eclipse

no hes good. at wot pulls you want to shoot for 11.5 afr w/ 0 knock... hes not lean at all. now at wot if afr was at 15ish now that would ne lean. hope this helped you

Actually it seems that you're the wrong one. I have the same AEM wideband in my car, the lower number does mean richer. Notice how it goes lower while under WOT, that's because the injectors are dumping more fuel giving a more rich mixture. A perfect A/F ratio is 14.7, so if it read 11.5 then that means there's 11.5 parts of air to 1 part of fuel. Done.
