Solar, wind, and geothermal tech should all serve a water economy. Connecting downtown with the waterfront is short-sighted without the investment in green technology and STEM-focused education. A serious master plan would include all of the above, expanding the downtown area through the Midtown Corridor to University Circle. If Amtrack moves to Tower City and intrastate travel expands from Cleveland to Columbus and Cincinnati, the Greater Cleveland Area would greatly benefit.

Cleveland should model it after Chicago's beautiful Grant Park with slower speed boulevards and parkways between them.

It’d be cool to have a cool downtown lake area. Also we could use some mire downtown buildings to make downtown look cooler too.

If you live in Cleveland you already know that there is a bridge you can just walk over.

Sigh , typical backward, closed minded, Cleveland mentality. Creating public acess to the lake is hardly nonsense.

@@tima4929 Public acces to the Lakefront Downtown already exists via the 9th street bridge and the pedestrian bridge that currently connects to Browns Stadium between W.3rd and the RTA Waterfront line Station...I don't get it!! The connection has been there forever!!! I've used it countless number of times for decades;I have no problem getting to the Lakefront from any part of Downtown!!
