I would not use parts cleaner due to the fact it can eat away at the o rings used with those filter cartridges.

Does the black filter cartridge have to flush to the engine part ...?? I tight mine tight by hand ...but there is a little gap still

So it was a big mistake by pouring in my 1.8 EU version, 5w40? I looked on auto-data after I did it and it recomands 5w20 or 5w30..

It’s for the bolt on bottom on the oil filter but don’t take it out me doing it made the filter housing go bad
