I will be applying your advice at my next fishing opportunity - Jetty- Lake Macquarie NSW Australia. Hopefully, tomorrow if gale-force winds abate. During a break in the drought, the river flooded into the Lake & the water was very muddy. I fished it. As the tide pushed in it brought clear water. At one point I had dirty & clear water zones within my cast reach. The clear water provided the most bites & catches. Eventually, it was all clear water. I will be targetting Flounder & will follow your advice on catching from earlier videos. I doubt Flounder recognise different International Zones.

Quick tip on the sliding weight. Do not have it sliding on your braid main line. It will rub and weaken your line considerably near your leader. Use a mono top shot or add a mono slider line where the weight is sliding on. I make my leaders 2pc. Looks like this. Swivel---- weight ----Swivel---------hook

@13min. You shouldn’t be using that brass swivel, use a slider(the ones designed for braid), That’s my preference. And I don’t think that’s a bucktail you have tied on in the traditional sense, I think it’s “flair hawk”, totally different profile in the water

at my place, there is a quite few jetty fishing spot like this, you know the artificial reef rocks formation but there is no fish there, at all. like, I'm having a hard time even I'm trying out your tricks and tips. maybe it's full of rubbish plastic bottle laying around by fucking irresponsible anglers/ fishermen! I also tried out casting lure like soft plastic, crank bait etc etc but man, the only fish are those disturbing fish, pufferfish. :( or maybe it just overfishing when people here don't practice C&R, because even I'm not fishing that day, I always stroll around the jetty just watching people but they never get any fish that's huge or more than 500g..
