The thing i like about Jetty fishing so much is that you never know what and how big your going to catch

Still to this day (20yrs maybe) i remember my brother and I hit the jetties in Barnegat Light, LBI. Mid Oct right before sunrise directly below the lighthouse ( for anyone that is familiar that is barely on the jetties). Normally we wouldn't have fished there but already before dawn several boats were already anchored up so I tossed a big eel diamond jig. As soon as it hit the water I was on something massive. All the boats hovering around in awe as my brother and I are trying to figure out the hell we're landing this massive cow striper. Impossible on those rocks and we got lucky because it got off right at our feet. Weren't going to keep anyway. Ive fished those jetties a hundred times since and always make it a point to throw a few casts there on our way out to the main points

I love jetty fishing! Check out the jetties in NJ to fish for triggerfish. Such great eating and there’s no size or quantity limit in NJ. We live off the Susquehanna near Perryville. Need to hit the flats with your boat for rockfish. They really hit on weighted swim baits there.

Fish the point of the jetty on the out going , that's where they gonna decide where they gonna go after that point you might intercept ,some fish at the point??Erin killing it again!!Ha hook up on the big jump!!Fun video!!😂It's not what you use it's how you fish it, but using close to good stuff help's!!

My dad used to put all the fishermen with their long rods to shame when we went to the sea. At Lamberts Bay we would leave the pier with at least one full shopping bag filled with bream, with a 7 foot bass rod.
