That 2.50 boat was actually pretty cool, better in a small inland lake lol My dad saved the plans for an 8 foot speed boat from the early 60's, he never got it built but maybe one day i can.

The thing that annoys me is when people who knowingly cannot swim or are not strong swimmers go into he water with such strong rips. But then again, strongswimmers can also get caught in it. It's the not listening to lifeguards for me! They're literally doing their job!

This! Like I understand going in like knee deep, slightly almost waist deep…..but if you can’t swim at all or you’re not a strong swimmer, why would you risk going so far out? As long as your feet are still firmly in the sand, unless the current is so strong that it’s pulling you in….theres no reason for why the water wouldn’t push you back onto the show. However I have also seen episodes where there will be someone who’s not a strong swimmer in an area that close to the show, and they’re practically dying meanwhile there’s someone further out regardless if they’re a good swimmer or not and they’ll be completely fine.

@@AndrewTBPI know that just curious I have never heard of the green whistle before since I haven not been to a beach since like the mid 90.s and that was in Mississippi. So was wondering how much is considered to much and if they ever had problems with druggies trying to steal any or fake pain to get one? With the rise in drug dealers and violence and all that on the US. I was wondering if they have that trouble with the drug used In the whistles

@@Starino1985 Yes but not in the way you're thinking, it only works while actively being used and only lasts 15-20 minutes. It only has one 'level' of dose eg you can't take more for more 'high', but if you take more than 2 in a day or 4/5 in a week it will really mess up your kidneys so most providers will try to only give one while they establish more appropriate pain relief

It may seem like a small detail, but it always disturbs me when people get simple facts wrong. The year 2010 is not the first year of a new decade. It is the last year of the decade that began with the year 2001. The year 2011 started a new decade. This is simple calendar math, and it always annoys me to see people make this error. I was, of course, particularly annoyed, on a frequent basis, when people, especially those who should know better, referred to the year 2000 (Y2K) as to start of a new millennium. It was the end of the 20th century, and the end of the first millennium CE. The year 2001, obviously, was the start of the 21st century, and the second millennium CE.
