I did! It was amazing! Went to New York with my family during summer 2005 when I was 5 and while we were in Manhattan, I saw him and literally started shaking my dad and saying "that's Steve Irwin" over and over. He was by himself and we just walked over to him. I got to meet and hug him and my dad had a conversation with him for about 10 minutes. It was awesome! Probably one of my fondest memories. Grew up watching Bindi when she first started out and thought it was the coolest thing that he was her dad

I really dont understand celebrity obsessions like this. One day at work, a mob of people came in screaming; I glanced over to the door and there were dozens of people screaming, and in the middle, there was a man, head to toe in purple camo fatigues. Once he made his way through the mob, and I could see who it was, I merely said "your camo doesn't seem to be working". I'll never forget that smile, and that laugh ... and the twinkle in his eyes.
