My favourite Star Wars movie. Yes, including the originals. This one tops it all. No merchandising, no sugar coating, no sillyness, no lightsabers. Only dirt, hope and heroes. The other films are fun fantasies, this one shows how the Star Wars would really be. Great tribute, thank you.

ROTS and Rogue One stand as my top two as well. That element of hope that makes Star Wars so meaningful stands out that much brighter against the tragic circumstances in both of them.

I love the new rogue one more than anything because it was powerful and the way it showed the darker side of the rebels where they're not squeaky clean And that bill do whatever it takes to get the job done to stop the Empire even if it means to play dirty sometimes just like them and I like that because by the end of these guys have one final chance in life to change how they are remembered And Challenges them for what they believe in

Perfect title. The Empire eventually looses as through its arrogance and dogmatism cannot understand the sacrifices people are willing to make for freedom. The Sith, Empire officers all are self-absorbed, selfish beings. They cannot imagine that one person would pretend to be one of them for decades just to install a weakpoint, sacrificing his family and his reputation. They cannot understand Saw Gererra, a rebel leader who lost health and his mind in order to resist the Empire after fighting the Confederacy. They cannot fathom dozens, if not hundreds going on a suicide mission to have the slim chance of stealing plans to the Death Star. "They've no idea we're coming. They've no reason to expect us. If we can make it to the ground, we'll take the next chance. And the next. On and on until we win... or the chances are spent." Rebellions are indeed built on hope.
