Congratulations, Faith! I happened upon your channel when you were beginning Augustine's Confessions a few years ago. Your reading of it inspired me to have a go at reading it. Then we went on to City of God along with others. I never dreamed I would get to read and complete those two books. Thank you for sharing your faith and your reading. I also feel the same about my reading and finishing The Lord. I knew you were pushing through thus I knew I needed to read on, misgivings and all.

Hi Faith! It's definitely the algo pushing you. You showed up on my home feed and I thought, "wait! I know her!!" I loved Flame Trees of Thika from BBC too - I really wish we had been able to hang out more in real life - we have so many books in common! Glad to catch you here and I'm planning to join up when you get to Newman. I was always intimidated by him but recently I've ;been following a telegram channel that shares out little bits of his writing and they have been so rich I really want to delve into his writing more.
