1K Voices Best Farm Method! Easiest Way To Get, Even if You're a Raid Noob! (Destiny 2)

I know, the vid is long. There's a lot I covered, but this video is MAINLY for those out there who still do not have the One Thousand Voices from the Last Wish raid. If you want to maximize your ethereal key farming and minimize the time spent in the Last Wish raid, this video was created for you. Get out there, do the 7th Wish code, farm Riven 3x, get 3 keys, go to the chest room ONCE, shoot your shot, and the rest is in RNG's hands. Hopefully this guide covers EVERYTHING to the point where even total raid noobs feel fine with going in & taking a stab at it. Good luck, and God speed (and ignore wacky chest theories, because they're all BS. 10%, that's it)

This season my rng has been really good, but not in the past, so i get the feeling that theres some special component that causes some players to have better odds than others, like the rng algorithm has a field for your xbox account number. Its a nice hypothesis, but im honestly just speculating. Ive also heard from some that their rng improved once they complained how terrible it was on the bungie forum, but returned to normal at a later date. Also sounds like a nice hypothesis, but likely just a coincidence...since these types are always complaining in way or another.

My RNG seems to be great for getting rare gear, but trash for getting decent rolls. I got two getaway artists within 24 hours of the release of Season of the Drifter (and I didn't get on until ~21 hours after the release). I got 1k out of my 6th chest, and Anarchy from my 6th Scourge. But I've never had a good Dust Rock Blues,and my only ever Sole Survivor had *slideshot*.

For the cheese thing: You do NOT need to go into the crystal room to see if riven is there. Use the "joining allies" thing you mentioned in the video and teleport back to the first room. Now stay in the middle of the room, then everyone should be quiet. Now you will hear a "knock" sound. If the sound is left, you should take the right room (facing the front wall when you get teleported) and vice versa. With this method you will ALWAYS know where she is, so wiping over and over is unnecessary.

Also, the way we did it was run into the crystal room, and instead of checking, just immediately run to the wall to get "joining allies" teleported back up, which would be faster 50% of the time, as it eliminates the room check. Once everyone is teleported back up, you actually listen for Riven's stomp. The sound will either come from the left side, or the right side, and will direct you as to which direction to run. Never tried using the prospector, but cluster rockets + luni-well + 1 golden gun + middle tree shield titan was our fastest way of taking her down. Golden Gun would damage cap, and rockets would finish the job. Even being down the shield titan's damage, the bonus of shooting through the shield more than made up for it.

If you immediately go to the spot with the wall and teleport back to the top, any player with a pair of headphones can hear a rumble from one of the sides (tree or crystal). Go to the opposite side, that will give you a damage phase 100% of the time.

Ninmue dude think having the ornament is bad. My clan invited a dude who never did any raids into our clan which was cool we about 14 members and we enjoy teaching peeps. He and another guy were under level tho and didn't have cluster rockets so we struggled with DMG a bit because some of us also use thunderlord instead of cluster and with 2 guys and little time it took us 3 days to do riven after the one guy leveled high enough. When we finished it with the new guy and he got his 1st ever completion he got 1k voices. Me it was my 37th completion and my very first bright engram for last season gave me the 1k voices ornament still don't have 1k voices and I am at well over 40 completions.

Instead of hoping for Riven to possibly appear in the crystal room, you can immediately press against the wall to teleport back up top. Then just wait for a few seconds and you’ll hear a stomp/slam/sound from either the left or right side. Head to whichever room DIDNT have the sound. If you hear the sound on the left, go right. It’s that easy and it’s much easier.

I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned it, but there is an audio cue that you can listen for to determine which side riven will be on. This works only if you have stereo sound. You'll hear a sound that is Riven walking around. Whichever side you heard that on, you can go to the opposite side.

You can save even more time by just having your full team go to the joining fireteam wall right as the encounter starts. When you teleport back up top, if you listen closely you can hear rivin moving, and you just go to the side you didn't hear the riven ruffling on. I think the timing for both methods is roughly the same but I feel just listening for her removes a slight chance of error and leaves you with slightly more setup time

Instead of doing the 50/50 thing in the crystal room you can teleport straight away, and listen for an audio queue in the top room. If you hear rumbling on the right you go left and vice versa. It might not be as efficient 50% of the time but it really standardizes your runs.

Man you’re great at videos and I fell asleep at about two minutes and 30 seconds listening to an average of what my subconscious is bullshitting to calculate at around 300 mandatory tasks per three seconds time passed. -rate. Taken spec is 10 percent while boss spec is than that i think 7.8 percent. Taken spec is better against riven. A precharged Merciless will also do more damage than a grenade launcher if u r using clusters.

Hey Fallout, love the content (I miss Fallout Bot videos)... we do a method similar to what Noah Damian mentions below: drop down past Riven and run to the blue door and up to the left against the wall ("Joining Allies" message) in the room listen for Riven to "knock", if you hear it to the right go to the left pathway, if you hear it to the left go to the right pathway... drop down the two holes, kill a few adds, kill Riven.

If u stand next to the joining allies wall and see the door close listen for a sound (it will sound like a growl or moan from riven). That is the sound riven makes when the shadow passes so if you hear the sound go to Crystal room by not teleporting up and if you don't hear the sound teleport up and go to tree/right. She makes the sound like 1 sec after the door closes and if anyone doesn't make it through the door b4 it closes the sound will be very very delayed.

If you're having trouble burning Riven down during the damage phase, my group's had good luck using a Banner Shield Sentinel Titan armed with Tractor Cannon instead of Melting Point. Everyone else stacks up on the Well, the Titan stands under Riven and boops her 5 or 6 times, then pops a Banner Shield and walks backwards toward the Well. Everyone unloads their heavy through the shield. Gets it done a little faster. Also, make sure you're pointing your heavy weapons at the bottom of the Taken sphere in her mouth. Teams that are wiping may be hitting her too high and putting splash damage on her eyes, which is an instant wipe.

no need to enter crystal. after the first drop head directly to the joining allies corner, once the last player teleports into the room, everyone needs to listen. If you hear riven crashing around on the left, go right. If you hear her on the right, go left. it saves a few.

When a quicker way to determine which side riven is going to pop up at is to listen for her movement on either the left or right side when you are in the large room before you drop down to the actual fight. If you hear her on the left side, drop down on the right and vise Versa

Update: This is still the way to do this, but it's not with GL's anymore. LITS with firing line and rapid hit can do really well if you have a full team. Otherwise, pop a bubble, and just use a sword with wirlwind blade and 1 person using tractor cannon. Also use all light attacks. My teams have always done it on the left side of the room, but I've heard of people doing it on the right side. Left is just easier because her arm is just behind the pillar and it's perfect placement.

We do the hand with a radiance, eventually a titan with bubble (but it's not necessary radiance is enough) and everyone with a whirlwind blade sword of any kind spamming light attacks. Even those without the mod slot (so not even boss spec equippable) will do a shit ton of damage and the hand goes down in nothing.

I've had 1k drop 4 times from the same chest, never had it from a different chest, and there definitely isnt 2 each time, I went into a raid with 4 who didnt have 1k and 2 that did, I opened 1 chest and got it, the other person that got it previously opened 2 and got 2, no one else got it, in the same run, so I do believe the drop rate increases if you've had it previously

Two questions. First, are you in a clan? Second, are you in the Discord Destiny 2 LFG server? Both of those let you get groups really easily.

Marayla Yashin thanks for the reply and your queries. 1. Yes...Its quiet and I do not get picked up often 2. I find LFG on any platform very “requirement heavy” ....”must have experience”, or “know the fights” or “must have this weapon or gear” for example. People like to be efficient and most do not enjoy explaining or carrying, and I don’t blame them. My skill level holds people back lol. Its fine its a game. I don’t need everything. At this point the outbreak perfected would be nice.

(I know this is old content.) I finally did the Last Wish Raid yesterday for the fist time in a Sherpa led event with my clan. I know that Bungie has changed the drop rate, but I picked up two 1000 Voices in the same raid and the other two new players (to that raid) didn't get anything. Destiny is weird, but I love it anyway.
