They were! Sort of. My twin brother and I bought Annihilator automatic BB guns out of an Easyrider magazine in the late 70’s. They held about 3,000 bb’s and were powered by a can of R-12 refrigerant. They didn’t look like any real machine gun but they were a blast to shoot!

I just bought the first BB guns of my adult life a few weeks ago. Midway had a deal going on a 2 bundle of Red Ryders. One adult length, and one slightly shorter youth model for $59. The nostalgia and the fact that I have a few grandkids that are way too young to shoot anything right now, but wont be for long, made it an instant buy. I bought a cool little Daisy Rocket Shot can launcher target and a few other fun little targets and also made myself an indoor BB catcher target. I forgot how fun a little BB gun is :)

I don't remember the name of it, But it used a can of Freon for propellent, And held about 100 bb's. Had about a 12 in. barrel. It was really cool, And you had to wrap a dish rag around the can of Freon because it would get ice cold when firing the gun. They make a hose adapter for some of these guns so you can use high volume refillable paint ball co2 tanks. Some guys even use nitrogen setups to avoid freezing up the metering valve. The best part about select fire is teaching people just how quick you can be out of shots without trigger discipline. Not to mention how cheap they are to shoot. Note the Umerex Steel Force and Steel Storm are like Bic lighters. My first Steel Force stopped working after a little more than 6000 rounds. It was too late to return it but I was able to exchange it and then I found a video on how to mod the trigger group to extend the life of the gun. My full metal construction BB machineguns have held up well. The most important part is not to leave the co2 in the gun for more than a day or two it can compress the seal and made the gas leak.
@jamiefreedom83203 жыл бұрын
then chuck on a tracer unit for the muzzle flash effect (obvously the steel bb's wont light up ) but the muzzle flash will work as the bb's pass through the senser in the unit to light it up and the gas as it exists the barrel

It continues to shoot due to a small part in the receiver breaking off very easily. It's a little tab that blocks the bolt from flying forward once the mag's out of BBs. You can either send it back so they change the part, or ask for the part yourself.

This is a fantastic CO2 BB reproduction replica of the German MP40 by UMAREX. Anyone who has seen a WW2 war movie will recognize it immediately. I have had mine ever since REPLICA AIRGUNS IN CANADA got them in stock and it is a blast to shoot. In my experience, shooting Full Auto, I get a little more than 2 MAGS full, but not quite 3 before it begins to lose juice. This unit is worth every penny. I followed it up a while ago with my purchase of the UMAREX M1A1 THOMPSON and the rate of fire there exceeds that of the MP40. This is a bit of a pain because the M1A1 holds fewer BBs than the MP40 and at Full Auto, you are empty in just a couple of seconds.

(Airsoft enthusiast here) You should get your hands on a GHK brand AKM. I own one myself. Full metal and real wood. It fires 6mm plastic bbs (not 4mm metal), but it is hella fun! With the exception of the extractor, the internals look almost like a real AK. The base model runs off green or red gas, but you can buy a magazine that runs off co2. And when the magazine runs dry on bbs, the gun stops firing unlike your MP40 here (although there is a tiny switch in the magazine that will allow the gun to dry fire without bbs). Easily the most realistic airsoft gun I've owned.

@terry60423 жыл бұрын
I've watched many of these MP40 Machine gun being fired with the person firing the gun, holding the gun with the hand on the clip...I did the same until I realized that it was my hand gripping the magazine that was stopping the bb's from feeding into the gun as the springs button, feeder was getting caught, stopped by my hand, not allowing the spring to keep moving up the magazine to feed the gun! Once I realized this, placed my hand right above the magazine, where the magazine holder clips into the gun, I had no more problems with the bb's going into the gun and out the barrel. Try This and see if your problem goes away!? If your hand catches the spring, it will continue to fire out all the CO2 without the bb's. once the bb's are all gone out of the magazine, the gun does stop firing for you to reload and you get 4 plus reloads of 52 bb's before having to put more CO2 in.

Tip 4 u buddy re the MP40: make sure that the BBs are double stacked in the mag. It helps prevent possible jams on full auto.
@capesquirt4 жыл бұрын
Yes. It is a double stack mag. When loading make sure the bbs have a sorta zig zag pattern rather than inline.

I have the BB MP40 and a full auto Broom-handle. Both are a hoot to shoot!
Since there`s nothing reasonable at the gun shops I may take a look.

Why is there no mention of the bb gun models nor links to them in your description field? :-( Slightly disappointed here....

@@M447DT It's a joke. There is no such "thing" as Fully Semi-Automatic. It is a made up term used by gun control idiots....lol

I have the MP 40 but it is the distressed model. It comes with a real thick leather strap and it looks like it was a real firearm used in WWll. As you know, the weight and size are almost exactly that of the real MP 40, this is not a light piece of plastic and is made mostly of metal. It is recommended to load the magazine with a few rounds less than the 60 round capacity because some people have had issues with a mag loaded with the full 60 rounds. I went out and bought an extra magazine (not cheap) because it keeps it much more fun for the kids to be able to shoot quickly after enjoying the first mag. Using a speed loader (inexpensive) really makes reloading fast and easy and there is no ammo shortage with these, lol. They really are a lot of fun and the full auto makes it fun for adults as well. Good video, looking forward to more "different" topics like this. Well done.

If you get the MP40, make sure to use Umarex Black Diamond BBs as everything else seems to jam.
