Dude my grandpa was one of the 8 US army advisors at an loc to the ARVN, they held a town against three tank divisions and like 5 infantry divisions, 5 of the 8 US army advisors died, my grandpa survived but was wounded twice

My grandfather was in the navy during the 70s and had a few cousins in Vietnam. One was in the armored, his machine gunner was hit. After he took his place the tank behind him nailed him in the shoulder with a dart. Later on he also took a piece of shrapnel after they blasted a hut. The other cousin was a sniper who was shot in a tree two separate times and fell out.

That's because a Chinook can carry four times the load of a single UH-1 Iroquois. (Huey). You can carry a squad in a UH-1 and a platoon (with artillery) in a Chinook.
