Honolulu...I lived up on the N shore 1995,96...first at backpackers, then lived in what was Brecks hostel, that had become rentals, just north of sunset. good days, if you haven't been ,theres real hiking behind the neighborhoods up there, just find the little dirt trails heading up into the steeps, old bunkers, whole canyons full of wild fruit, bunion trees, single track dirt bike like mad everywhere. have good time !

I got to go up to the North shore for some surfing at Banzai pipeline 🤙 also did the PillBox hike at Turtle Bay

@@QuartzCowboy right on ! yes sunset is the far end of pipeline kinda, could walk at low tide, I was just living in one of those crapy houses in the tall grass and bananas on the highway 1000feet to the water. also met the best people there, Mark F's parents owned backpackers then.... the best people. happy travels my friend !
