@@loucostabile : Lou,LOU once again you've knocked it out of the park! One of my all time favourite cars from the 60's. A "fuelie" Corvette how beautiful is that. And one that not only ran but won Le Mans in 1960! Is that true Americana or what. This is what the true meaning of American ingenuity is hands down. Have a gr8 God blessed day guys.

Chip Miller was a pioneer in the Corvette collecting hobby. In 1974, he paid about $6,000 for a 1966 model with the 425 hp 427. His friends thought he was nuts. Oh well. He also owned the lowest mileage 1953 model for many years. Chip was total class act and died far too young. Great car restored by Kevin, who turns out the finest restorations on the planet. Thank you Lou.

Great video Lou love watching your channel. I had read in one of Tom Cotter's barn find books about him finding one of the 1957 Corvettes that was used as test cars on the Bonneville Salt Flats and then repainted and sold. The guy who ended up restoring it put it back to the way they had it when it was being used as a test car when it was new.

Thanks for sharing this car Lou! Very interesting Vette, the fact of it using a Rochester fuel injection instead of a carburetor for Le Mans, means that these fuelies are efficient! Maybe they were a big cost for a production Vette but they must be reliable
