@KoiPondLifestyle yes I e seen people do this also but I have never found a need to do that because yes it gets rid of nasty bacteria but it can't pick and choose so it gets the good bacteria too so I only use it if I feel there is a need for it 👍 but this time of year your filters won't have much bacteria anyway so as mentioned before it won't hurt right now even if there is no need for it 😊

Merry Christmas! I’m a regular Virkon user, and the great thing I’ve found is that despite being an excellent disinfectant it has next to no impact on my filters. Hydrogen Peroxide is another excellent disinfectant (and blanket weed) treatment 😊

Man im gutted I missed Only fins, great to hear it was good though. I have used/ do/ will use Virkon regularly, a lot have said its amazing. One thing that I did learn (via Paula and other respected Koi heads) about it is its great at killing bacteria in your water but cant kill anything thats in the kois blood. So awesome at preventing things. I may try these gadget thing, somehow I missed your video on it. Merry Christams mate and all the best for 2024 🎉

Hi Andy been using virkon about ten years now. Mainly use it in spring through tell summer . Dose twice a month . Think it’s really helped keep things at bay . It can’t do any harm for your pond

@@KoiPondLifestyle i did scrape 2 koi before the virkon and nothing, they where gasping, darting around pond,sitting on bottom and 2 koi had white slime on there head i did treat for fungus a week before and diddnt help, ive done water changes and all good paramaters are perfect, i mean its only the frist dose mabie the second will be better?

Hiya, I've spoken to others about temps and hear they have used it recently in 6 degrees. It doesn't state any temps use on the tub... I don't know anything about whisky so I'll go off you tell me..😊👍
