1st gen vs 2nd generation rodenticides

Bromadiolone and brodifacoum are actually second generation anticoagulants. I do pest control as a side job for my family and friends in Texas since I am not really licensed and I use JT Eaton Bait Block 2G which uses Bromadiolone and I am just starting to use Lipha Tech's new first generation bait, Flatline Soft Bait which contains Chlorophacinone. JT Eaton Bait Block 2G has worked well for me.

I'm trying to find out what or which......1st or 2nd gen I just purchased? I guess now.....reading the box for ingredients will tell me?

@@extremeocd1184 1st gen = Chlorpophacinone, diphacinone, warfarin 2nd gen = brodifacoum, bromadiolone, difenacoum, difethialone yeah read the label ingredients. if you bought anything less than 16 pounds bucket then its probably 1st gen since its illegal to sell 2nd gen in small quantities. if you bought d-con or tomcat, it's probably 1st gen. contrac blox is 2nd gen.

1st generation comes before 2nd generation.. but I may need to check on that and see if I am correct.

Warfarin, Chlorophacinone, Diphacinone are your first gens. i like how you were touching all over that difethialone and then touching your face lmao, the eaton bait blocks works alright, but they're also a source for scavenger bugs and meal moths
