Today I started Physical Therapy. I loved doing the exercises even though they were very mild. I really loved my Physical Therapist. He was really informative, patient and helpful! I can’t wait to go back! 😁

Hi Staci! I just want to say your videos have been amazing! I got my osteotomy 2 weeks ago and it’s really encouraging seeing someone else go through it! I got both a distal femoral and a tibial osteotomy. It’s been tough but your videos have really been helping and giving me lots of strength. I wish you the best in your recovery and we will walk soon!!!

Hi Valerie! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. It means so much to me. Sometimes when I do these videos I wonder if anyone else is going through the same thing. It’s nice to see that I am not alone. Wow! You had a major surgery!! Praying for healing and a speedy recovery for you. Yes we will walk soon! Keep in touch!! 😊💜

How far can you bend your knee now? How long did it take for you to walk unassisted?
@valeriecobo8942 жыл бұрын
Hey staci I actually have a quick question for you regarding your progress! I’m now 3 weeks into my surgery and I’ve only been able to bend my knee about 40 degrees max since I have so much pain and tightness. How has your range of motion been? And has physical therapy helped a lot?

Hey Valerie! Hope you are feeling and recovering well! I actually don’t know the exact amount that my knee is currently bending but every time my physical therapist does the bending and the stretches it’s still super tight and it feels like a wall.. do you also get that wall feeling? When I go back to PT I will find out the exact number. I’m right now approaching week 7 and I’m 50% weight bearing.. feel better! 🙏

@@StaciPompey ahhh I see that’s amazing to hear!! I feel the exact same way. It’s a tight pressure, like a wall as you described. I started PT today and got some stretches as well to hopefully get over that tightness… And congrats on 50% weight bearing that’s a huge accomplishment! I wish you a speedy recovery!
