Much of the scenery reminds me of either the defunct Scarborough LRT line, or what you see along the GO Lakeshore East line coming from Oshawa into Union Station to visit T.O.🙂

If you're interested in light rail transit systems perhaps check out the one in nearby Buffalo, United States. It's quite an unusual system in that a large portion of it is underground like a subway and the train cars are non-articulated.

Ken, From watching your videos Edmonton's LRT is a much more pleasant experience to Calgary's LRT. Calgary may have to handle a larger number of daily commuters, but to stand during your journey while constantly listening to those annoying warnings beeps would drive me insane...📢🤪

Hi, the lineup was for Comic Expo, not for "the Casino." The reason seating is like that is to accommodate more passengers. And yes the view is awful between Stampede and Chinook stations, all along industrial areas.

Too bad the Calgary Public Transit is that you can't tap using your chip bank card like Toronto. The old way. Paper ticket fare. the smart phone is nice or the transit card. Small percentage of the public in Calgary might mot have the smartphone to download the app to pay for the transit fare.

The stupidest thing that Calgary ever did was to put their LRT above ground through the downtown core. Bad call by the city planners.

Buffalo, NY LRT goes above ground as well.

I was born in Calgary and I left it when I was 12 in 1977. My parents divorced, and the last thing i remember was going to the Stampede in June or July of 1977. The first thing I remember was going through the front gates and wished all the tepees burned and set on fire. TY, I'll just leave it like that.

I'm from Calgary and the sections that you see no seats that is for people in wheelchairs. It will fit a wheelchair. That's what it's for
