Even my Malay friend in Malaysia ask me to accompany him to Guangzhou as he wants to find product to resell. He told me he was amazed of the efficient train and its cheap.

Before physically inside a particular city in China, I downloaded and installed a metro App for that city, so that I can use my mobile phone for the metro once I am there.

OMG,Ken you were on the No.3 metro line, I took this line daily for going to work. It’s the famous “the metro line of hell” in China😂 for how overwhelming busy and packed it is😅

I like how you skipped over the airport security check style xray scans and removing all items from bags in the metro station.

New York metro should have scanner like airport instead of armed national guards standing only a few stations a few hours doing random check (no idea how they pick people to check, violent crime like shooting still occurs). Heavy security means safety and order, I don’t see Chinese jump over ticket gate, which I see often in NY, SF and LA. Another thing I wish NY metro install is platform gate at all stations to prevent people falling off, I always worry being push off so I stay further, sometime I would miss a train because too many got in front of me. Scanner is just in China, I visited countries like India, Indonesia….all have it. Went to a shopping mall in Pune India, they require body search to enter, lol.
