@@TheToto4562 Yes I understand what you are saying, that's where common sense has to play a part. I am not sure what other companies would have charged for this, maybe around what you said. This customer was a good regular customer of mine and to be honest he didn't like this car and was just going to leave it, so I did him a really good deal as I said I would make a video out of it, therefore I would hopefully claw some of that loss back in a trickle of KZbin revenue, although this is always a gamble and doesn’t always work and I have often ended up losing out! So do you work outside by choice or are large shops a little harder to come by over there? Here in the US there are some guys that will set up tents and work but usually that's when they're going out of town to chase hail. I haven't really seen very many people by choice work outside here

I do like the freedom of being a mobile tech although trust me there are lots of days where I wish I were in a warm workshop, especially this time of year! Although with all the rising costs right now, not sure that will happen for a while. It would be great to rent a space for a day here and there but I can't find anywhere local to do this either. Most landlords here don't like to rent to anyone in the motor trade. 👍

I love your work, I just want to go and kick my car now to practice. Have you done a tools of the trade video etc?
@1st_track_dents3 жыл бұрын
Ha ha, you could also just park it at the local supermarket for 10 minutes and you would get the same result 😂 I haven't done a tools of the trade video yet, I put down in the description most of the common tools that I use, but I may do a tools video in the future 👍

@@1st_track_dents I’ve been wrapping cars for 20 years now. I want to get into something else. I watched a guy remove a nasty dent on my own car a few weeks ago and now I’m addicted.
