The thing that sucks most about this is when most of your relatives and/or people you're surrounded with at work, friend circle, etc. are drinking the society koolaid and shaming you for not being married, not caring about how others perceive you, not having the typical person mentality, etc. Had to develop really thick skin and cut out a lot of contacts as well as distance myself from certain family members just cause I prefer to spend my time on self-development/pursuing other things over being a social butterfly + wasting money and time on pointless tv shows, livestreams and whatever else all the sheep are into.
@1STMAN4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, drinking culture in any office is such a disaster. I didn't drink for a year in like 2015, then had one Xmas night out and get ill for 3 weeks. It throws you off so badly. Family pressures is tough as your family just want what's best for you, but sometimes you have to understand you cannot choose your family, which means you're not obligated to stick with them

Why do you need them to believe in you? Both their belief or their unbelief is going to have 0 impact on your progress towards accomplishing your goals. They can believe it after you’ve done it.
