Also, no, Mario saving Peach from Bowser is clearly canon as it's referenced throughout the games multiple times, same for him stomping on Goombas, but things such as possesing random citizens in New Kong City isn't because it's never mentioned or referenced. It's not a part of the story, just a random thing the played can do if they want to. You don't have to posses citizens in the game to beat the levels- You sometimes need to posses the minions, but they're Bowser's minions who attack him, that's justified.

Everyone in Mario is at least superhuman, A FREAKING TOAD survived being stepped by Giant Bowser in the opening cutscene of Mario Galaxy 2. Toads are the weakest creatures in the Mario world and they're still superhuman. So yeah. Also Mario never kicked a Koopa in a cutscene and it isn't required to do so in the game,you can do it, but there's no cutscene of him doing it or any requirement for it, so yeah.

The people who made the game themselves said that the original intent was for Mario to punch yoshi, but they scrapped it and changed it to pointing at the last minute. So no, even in Mario World, he's pointing. Also seriously think about it for a minute WHY would Yoshi not just throw Mario off him if Mario is punching him? Yoshis aren't weaklings, in fact they're some of the strongest creatures in the Mario world. Why the heck would Yoshi just let Mario punch him lol?

the events with Wario in the comics is similar to what we see in the flashbacks in Onegai My Melody with Kuromi. in her Kuromi Notes is written details of incidents that was either caused by or blamed on My Melody that happened to Kuromi leading her to criminal activity that led her to being sent to the dungeon. like Mario, My Melody was unaware of the fact that Kuromi wasn't having a happy time and though they are rivals in the show, My Melody sees her as a friend despite what's really going.

You know, if Yoshi was to appear in the supposed sequel to the Super Mario Bros Movie, I am going to hope that Mario's treatment of him will be much better than how he treats Yoshi in the main series Mario Games. I mean, there is no way to defend Mario when he lets Yoshi die just to get an extra jump! Yoshi has saved Mario multiple times, and has even saved him and put up with his crying when Mario was a baby, and Mario still treats him like disposable canon fodder. I agree, Mario has a lot to repay Yoshi for!

I know a lot of people like to make levels that the strategize having to sacrifice Yoshi to jump further in Super Mario Maker 1 and 2, but I purposely designed the levels so that you don't actually require sacrificing you she at all. That therefore means that if somebody does sacrifice Yoshi they either screwed up their jump or they are truly immoral because it wasn't even necessary to complete the level😂

Mario is NOT a bad brother, he doesn't overshadow his brother. The problem with his brotherly relationship is that he spents less time with his brother. Also there's a theory that the Jumpman from Donkey Kong Jr is actually Mario's father and yes Nintendo did confirm that Mario and Jumpman are the same person but this theory is interesting because it gives us information about Mario's parents and makes Mario innocent.

xavier102 He never killed any Toads. The manual for the original SMB game confirms that the Toads were turned into ? blocks (which provide you with a power-up but don’t break) and were turned back to normal at the end of the game. This doesn’t apply to any other subsequent games.

This is just a move players did it’s basically a speed run move it’s not meant to happen and it’s just something players used to complete the game it’s not a canon thing and it’s not something Mario has done it’s just a move used for speedrunners or to break the game also the example you give of a bonus level that requires yoshi to be sacrificed was one that could easily be done without sacrificing him so nice try Kidnapping cranky and trying to kill dk Jr. Again this is jump man Mario’s dad not Mario himself so this doesn’t work Either way try to research more and not just base your stuff on what you find on random websites that claim this stuff without true proof

You clearly didn't read the whole Manuel. It is literally said later in the same Manuel that the Toads were turned into QUESTION BLOCKS and that they give Mario power-ups when he hits them to help him.

11:02 There is NOTHING saying that this is the prequel to the OG donkey kong. That statement is nothing more than a headcanon. And like other people said in other places of the internet, NOTHING says mario owned the circus, and it's possible he thought it was all staged and that DK wasn't in pain. Or maybe he did own the circus but this happened after the OG DK and Mario thought he deserved that for kidnaping Pauline. Either way you slice it it doesn't sound good for Mario and this is a pretty bad thing, but stating that this happened before the OG DK is just lying lol.
