Great video AJ and the chapters are a nice touch. What device were you using on the RTV tube to apply it? It looked like it has a trigger to help dispense it. Also, you should become an Amazon partner and link to the tools you use so we can buy the cool ones and you get a small commission from Amazon.

Thx for watching and commenting. Good job on noticing the chapters. I’m not sure if anyone else noticed them. They should be in all the videos within this series. Also, I identified the tool you are asking about at 9:17. It is the Valco Tube Grip. Finally, an excellent suggestion for the Amazon partner thing. I’ll have to look it up… not unless you know how to do it.

How much of a difference between the 1zz-fe and the 1zz-FE in the Lotus? Can a stock one be built to Lotus spec for more hp? Thank you AJ

I’m looking for advice on my 01 mr2. I’m burning oil like crazy, as those early models do. In your opinion, would it be ok to rebuild or better to get a 03 - 05 replacement? I’m cool doing the rebuild but I don’t want to put out the effort if it would still be prone to the oil burning issues.
@RelentlessRacingAJ

Let’s be clear… if you rebuild a PFL motor (meaning you replace the pistons and rings and have your bores cleaned up), there shouldn’t be oil burning issues or u messed up the rebuild). With respect to the cost… well u will have to run the numbers yourself. If u want to go quick and dirty, then buy a JDM motor. However, I’m OCD and that doesn’t work for me. I like to know where everything is, so I replace anything and everything that might be degraded or bad (rebuild the head w new seats, valve seals, every gasket, o-ring, hoses, water pump, oil pump, main and rod bearings, etc). Also, I consider a rebuild as a chance to learn about a new motor. In the end, the choice is yours. I hope this helps. Pls subscribe for more MR2 content. Thx again AJ

I have a 1zzfe voltz and I am wondering why my injectors are different 23250-OD030. They only flow around 210cc/min. I am here wondering if this the reason for my long term fuel trim of 17%.
@RelentlessRacingAJ
@RelentlessRacingAJ Жыл бұрын
Toyota had minor changes w all the different 1ZZs… injectors, fuel rails, fuel dampers, ECUs, cams, EVAP, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t know all of them. You will have to either refer to the OE service manual for your specific vehicle, take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic, or take your vehicle to a Toyota dealership to have it properly diagnosed.

Is there a reason not to install the oil pan right after the oil pickup is installed?
@RelentlessRacingAJ

Yes, if u drop something in the motor it is easier to get out bc the oil pan isn’t on. Thx for watching and commenting. Pls subscribe. Thx AJ

Sorry if I'm too late to the video, do you have any idea what the part number is for that bottom left bracket? 3:18
@RelentlessRacingAJ
@RelentlessRacingAJ Жыл бұрын
Thx for your question. Pls subscribe. If you are asking about the brackets I am clipping the wires to then that’s not a simple bracket. I’m clipping the wires to the oil dipstick tube and the coolant bypass pipe. -AJ

Do you know where I can buy this injector? I saw the part number: 12 3660 326 23250-22040 Other side: A1 DENSO ... I know this fuel injector are expensive for OEM part. I don't want to buy aftermarket one. For now I owned 1 out 4, I need 3 more so I can called RC Fuel Injection for their services. My aftermarket are defective for sure.
