2.2 Handicap That Plays With a Strong Grip

Love your videos because I have played with a strong grip all my life and people loved telling me how I was wrong. The one thing I do with a strong grip though is I roll my face open to get it square which is kind of a bad move to do under pressure consistently. You have a much better face angle all the way through the shot. The real key is I hit alot of good shots but you are 10x the putter I am.

Played with the same grip for years. Lovely push draws with the occasional pull draw. Spent the last 2 years trying to weaken the grip, hit the ball straighter but atleast a full club shorter or more. Really struggle in the wind. And now miss both left and right. Id recommend sticking with the strong grip and just embracing it because I feel like I wasted the last 2 years.

I just started 4 months ago and gravitate towards a really strong grip. Wondering if I should try and break the tendency now or just embrace it. I hook all the time. 🫠

I have the same grip as you. Extremely strong grip and it is really comfortable when i do backwing but it hooks half the time. 😢
