Prayers for everyone's safety 🙏 and warmth where you are. I know many people who end up stranded didn't need to go out during this blizzard, they had weather forecasts to prepare. Let the road crews do their work. Now there are vehicles that need to be towed before those areas can be plowed efficiently. Thank you to all the workers and LE for your very hard work and bravery 👏

I’ve traveled through that area several times… gorgeous place but not a fan this time of the year. I’ve lived in Wyoming and North Dakota so I’m used to worse climate; but is not the climate what worries me, but the travelers without driving experience in such conditions, AND those overly confident jerks. Prayers to everyone crossing that area! 🙏🏻

Wyoming going through the same thing. Was closed for I think 3ndays straight, opened most of the day yesterday, and closed again now.

@@brianschaffer9220 Weather there is no joke 😳 I enjoyed those days driving to the missile field from FE Warren AFB under harsh conditions, but I’m glad I don’t have to do it anymore. God bless everyone up there! 🙏🏻

I drove OTR refrigerated for the last 22yrs, Not missing having to cross Donner in these conditions. My trucking days are Over, happly residing in the PNW, I have chains for my 4x4 just in case......

People think they are infallable and will not get caught in such dangerous conditons. I lived at 4000' right below this and the snow and blizzard condtions are nothing to take lightly.

It's the first time in my life I've seen so much snow. And for the first time I see so many abandoned cars on the roads. Drivers should always check the weather forecast.

Even 8wd isn't going to help without snow tires and ground clearance. Driving over unplowed snow can cause a low car to get high centered which basically lifts the car off the ground so the wheels are not even touching the ground and the frame is resting on top of a foot of snow. I've been to a point where I could slide my hands underneath all 4 tires. And the further you drive the worse it gets due to the weight of your car compacting more snow underneath as you plow over it.

Stop buying Teslas and Subarus...Buy a Jeep (Lockers a must) with 37" tires and chain up...hahaha...otherwise you are just a "victim"..forget about organic vegetables..and fresh onions.
