Quick explanation about the Damage phase. The reason we use Loaders is for after the opener, when we have to start reloading our rocket the loaders will speed up the overall animation and get to the animation cancel faster. Also if the damage phase confused you here is a much easier way to look at it. Opener: [Lay well -> Shoot WItherhoard -> Throw grenade -> Shoot Rocket -> Throw Grenade -> Melee ability if you have it -> Shoot Rocket -> Throw Grenade -> Shoot Witherhoard -> Throw Grenade -> Shoot Rocket] After Opener: [Reload rocket -> Cancel animation with grenade -> Shoot Witherhoard -> Shoot rocket -> Throw Grenade -> Shoot Rocket -> Rinse and repeat After Opener]

For anyone using the hothead with demo/EL, use witherhoard first then shoot a rocket,grenade,rocket,grenade and then back to witherhoard and repeat. Do not throw a grenade before the first rocket like he did in the video. You can bump up your damage per second this way

I find that charged up/stacks on stacks/time dilation have their benefits significantly reduced when not using a mod that actually consumes those charges, like grenade kickstart. All it does is increase the length of your Font mods, which are refreshed quickly enough by picking up orbs. Remember, all you need is one armor charge for Font mods to kick in. Firepower and Shatter Orbs (artifact mod) are sufficient at orb generation, so taking two Ashes to Assets and one Font of Wisdom in the helmet slot has been the way to go for me: Font of Wisdom significantly reduces your Super cooldown, and grenade kills have a scaling effect based on your CURRENT Super charge rate. Emergency Reinforcement can also be used if you want some extra mitigation, and still want to keep the Armor Charge mods... otherwise they are pretty useless for this build.

1 ashes and 1 dynamo. Dynamo is ashes for the rift. I also run heat rise for melee regen. Snap can ignite by itself. Melee regen rift mods etc. Mod for all abilities loop into each other. Firepower and heavy handed. Super strong.

Anarchy would be a great alternative if you have someone running witherhoard already but if they're not running Starfire with it, then you should have priority. There is also a limit to 2 for witherhoard so if you end up having another person then you just need to coordinate who's direct impacting and who's shooting the floor. As for Anarchy though, you can use it, it just means giving up a rocket launcher in that scenario, it's possible but you lose out on so much damage. Play around with it, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt! Double slugs are the first thing that come to mind with anarchy

I have a hero's burden with frenzy/repulsor brace and a blowout with demo/explosive light. Is it because of exp. light that repulsor brace is not procking. It works if I switch to my retro.

Not sure, repulsor brace is supposed to proc if any enemy dies while affected by a void debuff. Maybe its because enemies are dying to your rocket? I know repulsor brace can be pretty finnicky at times

Completely random from Exotic drops. You can farm exotic chest pieces on "chest" days by looking the the legend lost sector schedule (rotates daily).

So you have three major ways to get it, one is just out right from world drops, but nobody's got time for that so your best options are wait until the legendary/master lost sector are dropping chest pieces or get lucky from xur's exotics. A great way to track what the lost sector is dropping is a handy website called Light.gg. Hope that helps!

The reason its so overpowered is because of DoT weapons like Witherhoard and Anarchy being able to refund grenade energy. They passively let you throw infinite grenades and swap to another weapon to Dps.

You can't unlock the crafting recipe as of right now until next season when we can turn legendary's into red borders. The best thing to do is eyeball xur and grab 5 copies of the weapon to turn into red borders later

You can get it as a random drop but the best thing is to farm the legend/master lost sector when chest pieces roll around. Light.gg is a great website i recommend to keep track of what lost sector is in rotation. If you don't get it by then, then xur will be your next best bet

To solve the fashion issue with starfire they need to allow exotics to be changed as well in the style tab, so we could change legendary sets into exotics and vice versa, it's stupid that we can't visual look like we have a full exotic set on......

thats a terrible idea. Exotics serve a visual purpose in PvP, and allowing legendary transmog onto exotic armor would dilute the value of exotics and let players "hide" what exotic they have on.

The worst part of my Destiny week is needing to do my RoN clear on my Warlock. Yes this type of damage build works, but I despise playing Starfire. Warlock is being benched once I get my raid exotic.

If you have another well lock player and a divinity player, my buddy just runs Thunderlord + catalyst with 3x Arc Surge mods and has a needlestorm super up every DPS phase. He's clearing 3M+ on Strand lock. He has outdamaged a lot of our group and it's way easier to do.

Don't understand the appeal of witherhoard. It's projectile is slow and so is it's reload. It's damage is terrible as expected in GM content. If you want DOT for nades, just use Osteo. Save yourself the exotic engram

The appeal is for how often it's DoT refund's grenade energy. Plus you should never be reloading witherhoard since it's catalyst gives you auto loading holster. As for gm content I can agree that it doesn't perform outstanding in that content but I find it still performs relatively well when it comes to mobbing. In my experience I can see osteo doing pretty solid gm wise because of witherhoards lack of champion capabilities outside of barriers with radiant but everywhere else in the game Witherhoard wins by a landslide Lmao.
