I heard the rules as "reverse to the finish as fast as possible and lose 5 seconds for every cone you hit". Listen carefully at 10:14 . Can't see why James is given shit for just following the rules. He only hit the same number of cones as Georges team while following the rules at set out, going between the cones was NEVER specified, the other team just thought that was required.

Listening to Jackstand, and his thoughts on the rules, makes me think he's somehow related to Roger Neilson. He was an NHL coach that found several areas in the rule book that didn't forbid specific things, and used those instances to his advantage. Several rules in the NHL rule book are a direct result of his shennanigans.

Reminds me of my grandpa. He doesn’t detail cars. But whenever I go to his house like for the weekend when my dad has to travel for work he’s in his shop machining metal or forming it in the forge. I made my own kitchen knife this weekend with my grandpa! It’s a 8” chefs knife made of CPM-M4 steel! I’m so proud of it. Thank you grandpas, for being the best.

Enjoy it while you can. I grabbed a few last things from my grandpa's house tonight, before the rest gets sold at a yard sale. Luckily I got three of his toolboxes and a bunch of tools as well as fishing stuff, and guns. I was his first grandkid, 40 years ago. He passed earlier this year, but over the last handful of years I would stop by and show him the pins I won, at the lever action silhouette competition, with his win 94 that he used for hunting. I have a picture of him with a pike that was too big to keep, from a fishing trip we did 20 years ago, and I just got a picture he had of me holding my fish with him, at about 7 years old. He taught me to cast and fish as a little kid.
