I had a Saturn Ion (Plastic version of the cobalt essentially) And that same wire to the battery in the trunk corroded through at that connector, left me stranded at work. Car wouldn't start even jumping the relay like you guys did. Another goofy issue those cars had was the resistor in the ignition switch was not a very tight tolerance, so in a climate where the temperature varied by a lot like the Northeast, the resistor would change value enough to trip the security system, and you'd have to go through a 30 minute re-learn process to teach the car to accept the ignition switch. I ended up going and buying a 1% tolerance resistor, replaced the 5% one that was in there, and never had another issue.

Its a turbo v8... any car modded to that extent is going to break, its part of owning cars like that, when they break you don't cry, you fix the broken shit with better shit and keep on going. TBH the problem with this giveaway is people who've never heavily modified a car before don't understand what they're entering to win. Its not a new car with a warranty, its a drivetrain swapped 20 year old "street car" race car. Yeah the traction control in all GM vehicles these days never fully turn off, at a certain speed, stabilitrak turns back on. Gotta pull the ABS fuse, it'll reduce power steering but it doesn't kill power to the wheels.
